The initiative sought to raise awareness among young people of the region to the footwear industry, making it familiar and showing its potential in order to facilitate the generational change in the workforce specialized. The project requested the development and implementation of specific educational materials and relevant information (especially videos), and the planning and organization of seminars and workshops at schools participating in the initiative, in order to present the world of footwear, the dynamics in the industry, job profiles, new technologies available, their key roles in companies, the knowledge necessary to fit in with the prospects for professional growth.
Tredozio project: business and productive development of the footwear industry

The project had the objective of achieving a custom support to the sponsoring footwear companies, to be implemented according to specific needs and interests of companies involved, strengthening the development of the business offert, productive and organizational skills, already carried on by previous initiatives.

The project has continued the path of research and testing of new technologies available and those experienced during a previous action of the system ( " collaborative management of product data in the footwear industry") in order to assess their applicability to the type of product in our region and to determine more precisely the competitive advantage that can come from their adoption.
Testing the virtual design of shoe, resulting in the creation of physical prototypes, and through moments of confrontation with entrepreneurs and engineers and experts on new technologies, it aims to seek solutions to the critical elements identified by the previous experimental initiative and allow a more accurate analysis of cost-benefit analysis of proposed technological innovations.

Actions for the expansion of business offer of Tredozio footwear companies
The project had the objective of supporting and enhancing footwear companies of the City of Tredozio (area Ob.2), acting on the various critical factors, through:
-1 The establishment of an intervention plan to support technical assistance in a systematic way to the companies involved on the strategic areas of business;
-2 Support to companies in the construction of two samples in order to experience a production course on its own;
-3 Strengthening of the technical expertise of companies in the process of industrialization of the product;
-5 Business / Technical assistance to facilitate the diversification and broadening of the clients;
-5 Legal /Technical assistance to consider the creation of a consortium, with the resulting added value that a combination of companies can offer

The project was conducted in the municipality of Tredozio, in the hills and mountains of the Province of Forlì-Cesena, who for years have seen a gradual process of depopulation, particularly the flight of young people. The economy is characterized by two sectors: the summer tourism industry and a quality shoe that is in danger of disappearing due to the lack of generational change that for the lack of attraction to the area by young people.
The activity proposed to remove the weaknesses of an economic strategy for the survival of the local community (25% of total), through the networking of local businesses, the training on business, the creation of a " Niche identity "to the local footwear industry, to give evidence to the products and generate added value.
JOB NETWORK: development of a network of services for a labor market quality in the footwear industry

The project had the objective of supporting the processes of development of the regional footwear industry through system actions among enterprises, social parties, local authorities (municipalities, schools, immigration offices, provincial offices and the labor delegations peripherals). A development process that found critical shortages in the qualitative and quantitative labor and conservation of historical know-how of the districts of luxury.
The cfu System for training in footwear and leather goods

CERCAL has realized a thorough study of the professional profiles in footwear and leather goods companies in the departments of production, research and development through the list of tasks entrusted to the central figure and the description of basic, vocational and technical skills that the figure should have. We have created a database of Capitalized Training Unit (CFU) needed to organize training courses to develop the key skills previously examined.
Later on, through the study of programs and education as well as the UFC, has been examined the possibility of transforming a traditional classroom courses in a context of FAD with the means that modern technology allows.
Under the same project was made also an analysis of the demand of the fashion market and its future trends with particular reference to the scenario of the market in the far East and America.
