Professional Profile<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The pattern-maker of leather goods is a technician who\u00a0plans and makes patterns of leather goods, interpreting the stylistic idea and\u00a0translating the design into a prototype.
\nThis course develops a complete professional profile through the acquisition of the necessary skills to carry out the technical design and the industrialization of the model, taking all aspects into account (materials, technical, stylistic and so on).<\/p>\n

To acquire fundamental and professional skills and\u00a0means to oversea the design steps and the industrialization in a leather goods company.<\/p>\n

Objectives<\/strong><\/h5>\n

– To combine\u00a0expertise and skills that\u00a0range from the\u00a0interpretation of the\u00a0design of leather goods to their realization.
\n– To form a professional figure who can bridge the gap between the designer and the technician, reconciling the requirements of\u00a0the creator with those of the industrialization\u00a0of the product\u00a0(times, methods, cost).<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Drawing
\n\u2022 Study of accessories
\n\u2022\u00a0Manufacturing techniques and development of basic models
\n\u2022 Materials used in leather-goods companies
\n\u2022 Production phase of prototypes
\n\u2022 CAD for leather goods<\/p>\n

\u2022 Planning and realisation of mock models
\n\u2022\u00a0Being present at the production phase (sewing and assembling) of the prototypes designed and cut by the students
\n\u2022 Visit to production factories and their suppliers
\n\u2022 Final exam[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInRight”]<\/p>\n

The best students have the possibility to complete their professional training with an internship of about 3 months. The organization of the internship\u00a0is subject to the specified conditions of CERCAL’s Regulation.
\nAt the end of the course each student will be given a Certificate of Attendance<\/p>\n

Admission requirements and selection interview<\/strong><\/h5>\n

During selection interview
\n\u2022 Motivation will be discussed
\n\u2022 A graphic-visual test will be carried out
\n\u2022 Basic knowledge of the Italian language (A2 level)\u00a0is required for foreign students.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Enrollment fee<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The fee includes, in addition to the\u00a0500-hour<\/u>\u00a0professional training, all the\u00a0necessary course\u00a0materials (equipment and tools for practical exercises of development of models and components). For international students who need a visa, a residence permit and an Italian language course, there is an additional fee for assistance during the visa application process and the attendance of the language course.<\/p>\n
